About

Hi, I'm Maria

I'm a Registered Music Therapist and proud member of the Australian Music Therapy Association. I'm passionate about supporting people of all ages and abilities to connect, grow and thrive through music.

I became a music therapist because I saw the incredible way music can connect people beyond words. Supporting others through these experiences is something I feel incredibly grateful to do.

Where I've worked

Over the years I've worked in clinics, hospitals, schools, aged care homes, community centres and early childhood services.

These experiences have deepened my understanding of how music can support communication, emotional wellbeing, social connection, learning and quality of life.

My approach

"Therapy works best when each person feels seen, heard, safe and supported."

My approach is person-centred, strength-based and family-centred. I work closely with clients, families, carers and support teams to create meaningful sessions that fit each person's goals, interests and strengths.

I believe every person has a unique way of connecting through music. My goal is to create a safe, engaging space where you can build skills, confidence, self-expression and meaningful relationships, while experiencing the joy of music.
